Born in Geneva, Switzerland, I set out for California in 1999 and settled in Los Angeles to pursue a career as a visual storyteller.
After a brief stint in the acting world I moved behind the camera where I instantly felt more comfortable and in control. Film school followed and then I started freelancing as a cinematographer, director, still photographer and editor.
In photography I found a way to express myself that is unique and personal. From cross processing reversal film to manipulating images in after effects I constantly strive to push my work forward to better communicate ideas, feelings and emotions.
I’ve written, produced and edited most of my directorial work and have collaborated with other filmmakers on developing ideas and concepts for various projects.
My work has mostly revolved around films, music videos, commercials and documentaries but I’ve shot my fair share of live events, reality based shows, corporate videos and such.
Having worked on three different continents I know that visual storytelling is a universal language which allows us to connect and communicate in unique organic ways.
As a director and cinematographer, collaborating creatively and artistically on projects with other artists and seeing them come to life makes for amazing experiences. I observe this world of ours and constantly wonder how I can bring something truthful and inspiring to the screen. Stories are all around. It just takes the right amount of creativity and sensitivity to make them universal.
